Wade Fishing Instruction (June through September)

Great for groups of two to fifteen. This is a great way to get into the water, feels the rocks and river flowing around you. You'll safely navigate the shallows of the James looking to catch sunfish and bass. This trip is great for any amount of people, and based on that amount will determine how many instructors we'll have on the water for you and your group.

        Wade Fishing Instruction, 2-hour:  $45 per person
        Wade Fishing Instruction, 3-hour:  $60 per person
 
Minimum 2 anglers
Kids under 16: $35 each. 
All tackle, gear, life preservers, and bottled water provided.
Trip based on river level at Westham Gauge being below 4.2 feet. Click here for Westham Gauge.

You can see the abundance of wadeable water in this section of the river.  Knowing where you can and can't wade builds upon your comfort level to return by yourself to the James River.
